Ingredients Kurkure - No Plastic in Kurkure

Before I talk about the manufacturing process of Kurkure, one of the most important point to be covered is regarding the ingredients in Kurkure.

Lately there have been false rumors doing rounds about Kurkure that says Kurkure has plastic. As it is a false rumor and don't know who is spreading it, I being a Kurkure lover thought of creating an awareness in people that there is no plastic in kurkure.

Kurkure is one of the healthiest snack and also one of the safest snacks which has no side-effects. It contains rice meal, corn meal, gram meal, edible oil, seasonings, salt, spices and condiments and flavors. The edible oil used in cooking Kurkure is the Rice Bran Oil. Rice Bran Oil is one of the healthier oils as it is low in saturated fats and high in good fats including monounsaturated fat (MUFA) and polyunsaturated fat (PUFA). Also cooking Kurkure in Rice Bran oil, reduces the saturated fat contain by almost 40%.

Every raw material or ingredient used in Kurkure is thoroughly checked for its quality and if any ingredient is not as per the company's stringent quality guidelines, same is rejected. This makes Kurkure a safe for consumption and good for health product.

Kurkure Snack - Good for Health and Not Bad for Health

08.28.08 (12:39 am)   [edit]

Kurkure is a new age Namkeen from the FritoLay Division. It is a snack that is manufactured from some of the naturally available ingredients including rice meal, corn meal, gram meal and edible oil. Most of these ingredients are used by us in our daily household cooking for the preparation of various edible dishes and items. So for sure, consumption of Kurkure is not bad for health. But lately, there are some rumors doing rounds about Kurkure that it is not good for health. How can this be true? A snack which is made of natural and edible ingredients, how can it have any affect on one's health.

I have Kurkure very often and it never tastes like it contains plastic. How will it taste like plastic though, when it does not contain plastic. People are just spreading rumors when they know nothing about Kurkure and its manufacturing process.

Keep reading here as I would be soon posting about how the FritoLay Division manufactures Kurkure in compliance with the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act and Rules that govern the manufacture, distribution and sale of Kurkure.

Till that time, Happy Munching!
